May 16, 2006 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Viisage (Nasdaq: VISG), a provider of advanced technology identity solutions, reported on Monday (15 May) its results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2006. Revenues in Q1 2006 increased to USD23.4m from USD16.8m in the first quarter of 2005. The company reported a first quarter net loss of USD2.2m, or USD0.07 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of USD1.6m, or USD0.09 per diluted share, in the first quarter a year ago.
