Romios Gold hat begonnen sein erstes Explorationsfeldprogramm auf den North Caribou Claims des Unternehmens im Nordwesten von Ontario, Kanada (Karte 1).

Diese Claims liegen nur 8 km von der Allwetterstraße in die nahe gelegene Gemeinde Round Lake entfernt und werden von der nach Nordosten verlaufenden regionalen North Caribou River Fault (NCRF) und einer parallelen Störung 800 m südlich dominiert. Der NCRF enthält eine Reihe kleiner, aber hochgradiger historischer Gold-/Kupfer-Vorkommen auf den Claims von Romios, z. Kirkland Lake, Kalgoorlie, Val d'Or) sind die Hauptverwerfungszonen oft zu „dicht“, um Erzzonen zu beherbergen, und es sind nur die untergeordneten Spreizverwerfungen oder Verbindungsstrukturen zwischen den Hauptbrüchen, die genug erzeugen offener Raum, um Erzzonen zu beherbergen.

Die Außendienstmannschaft von Romios führt ein gründliches Programm zur Bodenprobenahme, Prospektion und Kartierung über die offensichtlichen Spreizverwerfungen durch und bewertet die Art der Vorkommen auf der Hauptverwerfung der NCRF. Wenn über diesen Merkmalen signifikante Goldanomalien entdeckt werden, werden im Spätsommer Bohrtests auf diesen Zielen in Erwägung gezogen.

Diamantbohrungen bei den herausragenden Gold- und VMS-Zielen auf dem Projekt Lundmark-Akow Lake von Romios, 53 km südöstlich der Claims North Caribou River, sind nun für Anfang August geplant (siehe Pressemitteilungen von Romios vom 5. 2021). Ein erstes Kartierungs- und Probenahmeprogramm auf Romios' gebänderter Eisenformation Arseno Lake, die ein Basismetall-Gold-Silber-Projekt beherbergt, ist ebenfalls für August geplant (siehe Romios' Pressemitteilung vom 27. April 2020).

(TSXV: RG) (OTCID: RMIOF) (FSE: D4R) ("Romios" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, pursuant to special resolutions passed by shareholders on January 16, 2026, and the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, the Company has consolidated its capital on a ten (10) old for one (1) new basis and changed its name to Oreterra Metals Corp. Effective at the open on Monday, February 2, 2026, the common shares of Oreterra Metals Corp. will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on a consolidated basis under the symbol 'OTMC'. A new corporate website is accessible effective immediately at www.oreterrametals.com.

Prior to giving effect to the consolidation, the Company had 328,059,969 pre-consolidation shares issued and outstanding, in addition to 39,956,667 warrants and 8.700,000 options outstanding. Following the consolidation, the Company has approximately 32,805,996 post-consolidation shares issued and outstanding. In addition there are 3,995,666 warrants exercisable at $0.50 until between August 15, 2028 and December 27, 2029 (which later expiry date is subject to acceleration) and 870,000 options exercisable at between $0.50 and $0.80 until between April 19, 2026 and September 2, 2027.

No fractional common shares will be issued further to the consolidation. In the event a holder of common shares would otherwise be entitled to receive a fractional common share in connection with the consolidation, the number of common shares to be received by such shareholder will be rounded down to the next whole number and no cash consideration will be paid in respect of fractional shares.

The new CUSIP for the Company's post-consolidated common shares is 68616A100. A letter of transmittal will be mailed to registered shareholders on January 30, 2026 providing instructions with respect to surrendering share certificates representing pre-consolidation shares in exchange for post-consolidation shares issued as a result of the consolidation. Until surrendered, each certificate representing pre-consolidation shares will be deemed to represent the number of post-consolidation shares the holder will receive as a result of the consolidation. Shareholders who hold their shares in brokerage accounts or in book-entry form are not required to take any action.
