Investor confidence is reflected in the actions of 1,672 institutional investors, who recently increased their holdings in the company. Notable awards include a contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency's SHIELD program and a separate $112 million agreement focused on modernizing digital pricing systems for military commissary supply chains.

In a showcase of its applied AI, IBM has expanded its three-decade-long partnership with Augusta National for the 90th Masters Tournament. The company introduced new features powered by its watsonx platform and Granite language models. A tool dubbed "Masters Vault Search" will allow fans to use natural language queries to explore over 50 years of tournament archives.

This is complemented by "Hole Insights," a feature that leverages historical data dating back to 2015 to calculate real-time scoring probabilities for each shot during the tournament.

Market Context and New Trading Instrument

Despite a share price advance of over 2% on the day of this news, IBM's stock currently trades approximately 10% below its 200-day moving average. Adding a new dimension for traders, a "Tradr 2X Long IBM Daily ETF" is scheduled to launch.
