<description>Stocktwits, Revenue grew more than 150% YoY, 2026 guidance was raised, and the company secured a contract in China. On the surface, the story still looks strong. 
But one question keeps standing out: Why isn’t elite battery technology translating into stronger gross margins yet? This quarter’s margin performance was weak, and management didn’t give a very convincing roadmap for improvement. 
Revenue also remains concentrated among a small number of customers tied heavily to drone demand. Robotics, space, and eVTOL sound exciting, but those opportunities may take years to materially impact revenue. Right now, Amprius looks like a company with proven technology but still - unproven scalability.
