Oil Inventories Edge Further Lower
WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Crude oil inventories in the U.
S. slipped again last week, according to fresh government statistics released Wednesday. Meanwhile, there was an increase in stockpiles of both gasoline and distillate fuel oil.
The U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration reported that crude oil inventories dropped 900,000 barrels for the week ended November 25.
Gasoline inventories advanced again for the week. The EIA said inventories rose 2.1 million barrels. Inventories of distillates were also up for the period, jumping by 5 million barrels.
