Dover Corp Bottom Line Falls 27% In Q3
WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Dover Corp (DOV) announced earnings for third quarter that lost ground from last year.
The company said its bottom line totaled $130.39 million, or $0.83 per share. This was down from $178.35 million, or $1.14 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.02 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.5% to $1.71 billion. This was down from $1.79 billion last year.
